The Girls

I realized yesterday I haven't written about my girls in a while. Ava is now 5 and a half and Ruby is two.
Ava is finishing up her first year of school and it went amazingly well. We couldn't have asked for better teachers and staff. Ava did really well, made lots of new friends. She continues to dance and create all she can.
Ruby has transitioned from baby to toddler, she loves to pretend she's a dog and play fetch, there's random imaginary lady bugs all over the house. She dresses herself everyday in her sisters clothes and she still loves her babies! Ruby talks so much and uses big works, I'm really amazed when she can say three syllable words clearly.
Together, they are so sweet! Ava is very gentle and Ruby does all she can to get a rise out of her sister. For the most part, they get along really well.
They both have a love for fashion and creating. I try and let them do their thing, unless its a major holiday with lots of photos taken, then I step in.
Although I am not a fan of hipster fashion, I am when I see my girls looking like them. I am convinced the hipster society is scamming the local kindergarten play ground for fashion sense combined with lack of showering.
Here are a few photos of the girls playing in their daddy's hats and then Ava "modeling" my Baby Ice Necklace. She is convinced "fashion girls" only make mean faces in pictures. Maybe she's right??
